| Bio: | I'm Claire, I'm nineteen, and I'm a first-year chemical engineering student at the University of Bath who hails from south Wales. My favourite authors are Terry Pratchett, Jane Austen, JRR Tolkien and Anne McCaffrey. I'm a huge Discworld, Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings fan. I also love the X Files, Doctor Who and the West Wing. I'm also a member of my uni's debating society and Latin and Ballroom Dance Club. I debated a lot during sixth form, including winning the Wales Schools Debating Championship. I was the first non-Parliamentarian to ever debate in Parliament, as I was the first speaker of the first debate at the ESU Mace national finals, which were held in the House of Lords. I sail and walk a bit, during the summer holidays, and own a kayak and an Escape Mango, which I am proud to say I can sail all by myself :D However, I don't do this much, because we don't live near anything decent (I don't count the sea) and I am the laziest person ever. I am a geek and proud of it. My updates here will be incredible random and I offer no apologies for them. Look out for squeeing over maths and chemistry, too much information about menstruation and basically things that make no sense whatsoever. | |
